  1. How do I setup a Pay-Per-View/Purchasing Lock?

    To setup a lock for purchasing all Pay-Per-View Videos follow the steps below;

    With your TV and Digital box on, press the 'MENU' button twice on your remote control.
    • With your TV and Digital box on, press the 'MENU' button twice on your remote control.
    • Using the arrow buttons on your remote select "SETUP" on the screen and press the 'OK' button on your remote.
    • Using the arrow buttons on your remote select "PINs SETUP" on the screen and press the 'OK' button on your remote.
    • Push the down arrow button on your remote to select the "Purchase Pins".
    • Using the numbers on your remote enter a 4-digit password of your choice that will be required to purchase videos.
    • Re-enter the 4-digit password.
    • Press the 'EXIT' button on your remote to go back to watching your TV shows.

  3. What is the little RED light/Message light on my digital box?

    Every now and then Compton Cable sends out information about changes and updated to the cable service, this is done by sending messages to the digital terminals. When we send these messages you will notice a red light on the front of your digital terminal. This light will remain until you read and delete this message.  To view these messages and to remove the light on your digital box you can follow the steps below;

    • With your TV and Digital box on, press the 'MENU' button twice on your remote control.
    • Using the arrow buttons on your remote select "Digital Messages" on the screen and press the 'OK' button on your remote.
    • Using the arrow buttons on your remote select the message you would like to view and press the 'OK' button on your remote.
    • Once you have finished reading the message and would like to delete it from your digital box, using the arrow buttons on your remote select the 'X' and press the 'OK' button on your remote.
    • When your are finished reading all the messages, press the 'EXIT' button on your remote to go back to watching your TV shows.
