  1. How can I see my long distance call history?

    If you are interested in viewing your long distance history, you can login here to see any previously billed calls. You cannot see the calls of anything that has not yet been billed. If you don’t have a pin number already you can click on the "activate your account" link on the login page here to get a PIN number.

  5. How to I access my voicemail?

    Ther are 2 ways to access your voice mail;

    1. From your home phone.
      • Pick up your home phone and dial *98.
      • You will be prompted to enter your password. The default password is 1234.
    2. From another phone line
      • Call your home phone number and when the voicemail answers, press *.
      • You will be prompted to enter your password. The default password is 1234.

  7. I have no dial-tone what should I do?

    Follow the steps below;

    1. Check the modem for LED status.
      • If you have no lights then check the power cable to ensure that power is getting to the modem.
    2. Check if the "Telephone 1" Light is on or blinking when all phones are hung up.
      • If the light is blinking, Double check to ensure that all phone have been hung up.
    3. On the back of the modem you will see a telephone cable connected (as seen below), remove this cable and connect a phone directly.
    4. If there is still no dial tone, find other means to contact us for support

  9. What do the lights on my modem mean?

    LED NAME Meaning
    Battery Indicates status of the battery in the Telephony Modem.
    In normal operation this LED should be ON.
    Telephone 2 Indicates status of the 2nd phone line.
    In normal operation (Line not in use) this LED should be ON.
    When line is in use this LED should be BLINKING.
    Telephone 1 Indicates status of the 1st phone line.
    In normal operation (Line not in use) this LED should be ON.
    When line is in use this LED should be BLINKING.
    Link Indicates connectivity between your modem and yoru computer/router.
    In normal operation this LED should be BLINKING.
    If computer/router is off or not working this LED should be OFF
    Online Indicates connectivity between your modem and the Compton Server.
    ON - Connected to internet.
    BLINKING - Connecting to internet.
    US Indicates upstream connectivity.
    ON - Upstream connected.
    BLINKING - Connecting to upstream.
    DS Indicates downstream connectivity.
    ON - Downstream connected.
    BLINKING - Connecting to downstream.
    Power Indicates whether AC power is connected to the modem.
    ON - AC power available.
    BLINKING - No AC power and on battery power.
    OFF - No AC power and Battery fully discharged.
